My friend showed me the talking, cooing baby doll she purchased for her young daughter.  The doll is motion sensitive and coos or talks.  The "ga-ga" and "da-da" are normal baby sounds. Even though Matel states that the doll does not speak in sentences, I heard the doll say, "Islam is the light."

The Matel company claimed the doll does not speak in full sentences. If the company spokesperson does not know "Islam is the light" is a complete sentence, that is really bad news. My friend now tells me that Matel has dolls that have only goo-goo and ga-ga programming. They said they will exchange the doll at no cost.  

I think there is a bigger issue here. I have been reading the book, Why We Want to Kill You, subtitled "The Jihadist Midnset and How to Defeat It," by Walid Shoebat. Born in the Middle East, Shoebat is a former Islamic terrorist. After multiple exposures to the Bible, Shoebat became a Christian. He wrote he had to teach himself to stop lying after he became a Christian, because telling lies is a way of life in Islam.

I have read accounts of Muslim public speakers. In English they say what sounds good. In Arabic they speak ill of the West and/or praise their god and religion.

Several months ago on the internet I read the account of a woman who went to a local mosque in response to a flier on her car advertising a family-building class. Unfortunately, I did not record the website. She arrived early and gained permission to wait indoors. While she waited there was a men's meeting in Arabic in which the Imam bashed the United States. They did not know she understood Arabic.

How about combining these into some PURE SPECULATION? What if the spokesperson for Matel is a Muslim? It seems to me it would be very easy for a Muslim to say there are no complete sentences in the doll's vocabulary, knowing that the doll says "Islam is the light."

What if that doll were saying, "Jesus is the light" or "Mormonism is the light"? Would the world remain silent? I can imagine a swell of indigination from the liberal element of society.

If we are going to keep Chrisitian religion separated from the rest of life, we need to apply the same standards to ALL religions. In many countries Islamic law rules. There is no separation of church and state. And Muslims bring that thinking when they come to this country.
