Are you concerned about the ethical standards of our elected representatives? Are you debating what should be the guidelines for political ethics and morality? Are you looking for a place to discuss moral issues you see in government?
Do you have strong feelings about separation of church and state? Do you believe the "founding fathers sought to . . . thwart the religious dogma that existed?"
"Ethics 1001" is looking for people with opinions about morality and ethics in politics. Read the article. Give your opinion. Engage in a debate.
I agree that we need moral and ethical standards. The article sounds like the writer wants to legislate morality. I do not think that works, as moral decisions come from the inner person. A debate could be provocative.
