Have you seen the bumper sticker, "A bad day fishing is better than a good day working?" That might reflect the thinking of the author of "Fishing Tips." What is the appeal of fishing? What is the challenge?
The article talks about basic equipment, types of bait, correct location and patience. It says there are varieties of rods, reels, etc. How does a novice choose what rod, reel, line and hook suit best?
A few years back I heard someone on the radio explain how to choose a good fishing spot. Three days before you go fishing, pay attention to the wind direction. Select a spot in the area where the wind was blowing onshore when you fish. He said the natural food would be in that location, and thus the fish.
